Fred Pilbrow lead the team at PLP Architecture collaborating with Aukett Fitzroy Robinson on the development of this masterplan. This 1.3 million square foot development will provide Imperial with its first new academic campus in over a century.

The building provides an innovative working environment for new companies spun out of Imperial’s own academic research. Such companies initially take fitted–out laboratory suites in the building’s incubator and then grow onto larger research suites in the accelerator.

A thermally efficient facade, allied to a district energy network underpins the excellent environmental performance of the building.
